[decrees]

[The video opens up to a Dratini egg. Standing around it are a few Pokémon: a Torchic, a Vulpix, and a Staravia. The trio seem curious about the egg, as if they've never seen it before.]

How do you get an egg to hatch?

[The question comes from somewhere off-screen. The video swivels to look up at Logan, who is frowning at the egg. He doesn't seem to notice the camera is pointed at him.]

I've had this one for well over a month. It doesn't even show signs of hatching.

[And the one Reaver got hatched quite some time ago! Clearly this is an exercise in Logan's shitty luck. Then again, looking at those unevolved Pokémon it's quite possible that he just sucks at this whole "Pokémon training" thing. Or a horrible combination of that and shit luck. That's probably it.]

I have kept the egg with me at all times. What else does it require?

[He hasn't even dropped it! Come on, that has got to count for something!]

I also have a question in regards to evolution. Is it possible for a Pokémon to simply decide not to evolve? I have two that should have evolved by now but haven't for... some reason I can't figure out.

[Logan turns a bit, realizing that the camera is focused on him, and gestures to the Torchic. He retrieves the 'Gear from the cameraman, a sulking Snivy, and gestures to it as well.]

I would appreciate any advice on either subject. Thank you.

[He doesn't understand where Kimblee is coming from, though; Logan has never been one to surround himself with people either, and friendships have never been incredibly important to him.]

Have you managed to locate anyone else from Albion during your stay here? You mentioned there being one man that you were acquainted with before - have you found any others?

Yes, I've located two others. One of them is travelling with us now, the other is... ah... Her relationship with us is complicated. She should be capable of defending herself here, however.

[Page will be fine on her own! Of course he'll keep a close eye on the network to make sure she's not getting herself in trouble not that he could do anything if she was, but details. Reaver and Barry will probably end up in more trouble than she will. It's better to stick with them, though there's also the fact that Page kind of hates his guts...]

So you decided to remain close to that man you weren't terribly fond of - how has that been working out? And who's this new one you've picked up? Anyone you know?

Yes, Reaver is... difficult to get along with, but until these creatures can adequately protect me, I'm safer with him. The other man is Reaver's butler, Barry. They're... close.

[You don't mind if he looks rather disgusted for a moment, right? Omg eww tho.]

I take it theirs isn't a strictly professional relationship, then.

If they were bothering me that badly, I would have left awhile ago.

Perhaps, perhaps not. Being in a new world entirely tends to make people remain close to the few things they do find familiar, after all.

...That is true. I won't deny that part of the reason why I'm remaining with them is for that very reason; but at the same time, that isn't the only reason.

You mentioned protection; I assume that's the other?

[decrees]

Of course.

...Though I will admit I do prefer their company over no company at all.

Do you miss Albion, then? I know you've mentioned needing to return, for duty's sake - but do you miss it?

[decrees]

Why wouldn't I miss it?

It's the country I was raised in, the country I was charged with protecting. Of course I miss it.

I didn't mean any offense by it, Your Majesty. However, there are a few that find this place preferable to wherever it is they came from - I'm hardly the first one here to hold that opinion, and I doubt I'll be the last.

[decrees]

Why?

[That legitimately doesn't make any sense to him. How could this place - some other world - be preferable over your own home?]

Do you miss your own world at all?

[His answer is so immediate that he doesn't seem to have been expecting it himself; he supposes he should be bothered by how easily it comes.

...Is this world that much better than your own?

[explosivecombat]

In many ways, I find it to be, yes; I've been granted many more opportunities here than I ever would have had back in Amestris - some of them simple, some of them incredibly important to me, some of them that started out simple and became important as time went on.

I miss my alchemy. That's about all.

[decrees]

I... see...

[He really doesn't. He can't imagine wanting to ditch Albion for this world - regardless of what awaits him when he returns.]

What will you do here then? Continue to train and defeat the Gym Leaders?

[explosivecombat]

I've already defeated all of the Leaders in Johto; I have yet to move on to Kanto, though I suppose that's something that I'll do eventually.

[decrees]

What are you doing now then? There doesn't seem to be all that much to do here.
