[The video opens up to a Dratini egg. Standing around it are a few Pokémon: a Torchic, a Vulpix, and a Staravia. The trio seem curious about the egg, as if they've never seen it before.]

How do you get an egg to hatch?

[The question comes from somewhere off-screen. The video swivels to look up at Logan, who is frowning at the egg. He doesn't seem to notice the camera is pointed at him.]

I've had this one for well over a month. It doesn't even show signs of hatching.

[And the one Reaver got hatched quite some time ago! Clearly this is an exercise in Logan's shitty luck. Then again, looking at those unevolved Pokémon it's quite possible that he just sucks at this whole "Pokémon training" thing. Or a horrible combination of that and shit luck. That's probably it.]

I have kept the egg with me at all times. What else does it require?

[He hasn't even dropped it! Come on, that has got to count for something!]

I also have a question in regards to evolution. Is it possible for a Pokémon to simply decide not to evolve? I have two that should have evolved by now but haven't for... some reason I can't figure out.

[Logan turns a bit, realizing that the camera is focused on him, and gestures to the Torchic. He retrieves the 'Gear from the cameraman, a sulking Snivy, and gestures to it as well.]

[How do you have the patience for it? He'd just throw it in the PC and be done with it. ...Assuming he can figure out how to work the PC...]

I suppose it must have something to do with the trainer, then.

Yeah, I suppose it might too! Maybe Johto just thinks it's not ready yet, or maybe they're just trying to torture us, ahaha~!

[ rangiku can operate the pc, but, unfortunately, she's just too lazy to. And she enjoys having the pokemon wait at home until her valiant return! ]

Yeah! Maybe we should try swapping eggs and then trading them back to see if they hatch?! [ Rangiku's pokemon are level 100. In theory, it's just that she sucks with egg handling. ]

I've heard of Pokémon evolving through trades, perhaps some eggs will only hatch that way as well?

[Goodness, at least you've accomplished something there!]

I haven't heard of this, buuuut, perhaps~! We should try and find out because we have nothing to lose! [ She starts to move her way outside her door with the egg in her hands and Vulpix following her. ]

[Some...how? That's how he got the egg in the first place, anyway. You should have seen it, it was pretty hilarious. Logan, trying to use a computer.]

That's correct~! It should be available in the pokemon center~! You simply talk to the nurse with Pink hair. [ She won't refer to her as Joy because she'd rather not explain tons of things she doesn't actually know about. ]

Just say you want to trade an egg! They'll help you out~! [ It's okay, Logan. We all start from small places. ]
