FIRST ORDER ♛ VIDEO
[The video turns on with a chirp of "Snivy!" The Pokémon can't be seen, but due to the fact that the trainer is visible in the frame (well, his legs at least), the Snivy is probably operating the Gear.]
...must be some explanation...
[Logan appears to be speaking to... no one, actually. He's pacing back and forth and after a moment the Snivy adjusts the camera so that Logan can be properly seen. The room he's in is pretty nondescript - though members of Team Rocket might recognize it as one of the rooms in the base.]
[The Snivy, frustrated with his trainer, starts chirping again. Logan finally turns to look at it, frowning.]
What is it? I thought I told you to be--
[He stops, staring at the Gear for a moment. He doesn't look overly surprised - not that he ever expresses anything - but there's obvious hesitance in his voice when he speaks.]
...That device is on, isn't it?
[There's a very happy "Snivy!" in response.]
I suppose there's no harm in asking everyone, then. Does anyone know where we are in relation to Albion? I need to return immediately.
[Is that it? He doesn't mince words, that's for sure. The Snivy shakes the Gear, clearly frustrated. It chirps its name a few more times in an effort to get its trainer to keep speaking. Logan frowns at it.]
You certainly are a talkative one. I do have another question: what is the point of training these creatures?
[That's all he has to say, apparently. Logan waves a hand at the Snivy and after a moment the feed cuts out.]

[...Logan, stop projecting, please.]
[Voice]
[Wait, so this is essentially a break from what's going on in life back home? None of this matters or counts?]
Are you certain?
[That said, Logan's relaxed a bit. If this is true... He won't have to worry. It'll be the first time in... hell, years that he doesn't have something to worry about.]
[Voice]
Sometimes people you know from home turn up too.
[...The last person he would have wanted to find here, but you know. At least Reaver is a friendly face who doesn't want him dead?]
Thank you for the information, miss...?
[Voice]
[She doesn't know it, but she's
going to havespoken to him too.]Pauling. And you?
Logan, King of Albion. Again, thank you for the information. You've been most helpful.
[Voice]
[She's used to calling people titles in her job, so it wouldn't be a big deal. Whether he's actually King or not, however... She has no proof.]
[He doesn't mind the title, of course! He just imagines it will be a bit awkward to use here.]
[And yes, it is rather hard to prove that he's the king here; he doesn't have the crown with him, after all, nor does he have anyone else from his world who's trustworthy. Reaver is not trustworthy.]
[Voice]
[Don't worry! She doesn't have trustworthy people either. Scout is an asshat.]
[It's good to have some respect around here! Reaver doesn't count, he's always sarcastic anyway. How did we get stuck with morons here anyway?]
[Voice]
[Oh, she doesn't respect you! Don't be silly. She's just being nice so that she might have use for you later on. If she doesn't, no time lost, you gave her information on being in Goldenrod.]
