[The video turns on with a chirp of "Snivy!" The Pokémon can't be seen, but due to the fact that the trainer is visible in the frame (well, his legs at least), the Snivy is probably operating the Gear.]

...must be some explanation...

[Logan appears to be speaking to... no one, actually. He's pacing back and forth and after a moment the Snivy adjusts the camera so that Logan can be properly seen. The room he's in is pretty nondescript - though members of Team Rocket might recognize it as one of the rooms in the base.]

[The Snivy, frustrated with his trainer, starts chirping again. Logan finally turns to look at it, frowning.]

What is it? I thought I told you to be--

[He stops, staring at the Gear for a moment. He doesn't look overly surprised - not that he ever expresses anything - but there's obvious hesitance in his voice when he speaks.]

...That device is on, isn't it?

[There's a very happy "Snivy!" in response.]

I suppose there's no harm in asking everyone, then. Does anyone know where we are in relation to Albion? I need to return immediately.

[Is that it? He doesn't mince words, that's for sure. The Snivy shakes the Gear, clearly frustrated. It chirps its name a few more times in an effort to get its trainer to keep speaking. Logan frowns at it.]

You certainly are a talkative one. I do have another question: what is the point of training these creatures?

[That's all he has to say, apparently. Logan waves a hand at the Snivy and after a moment the feed cuts out.]

Indeed. He was useful back home, but I highly doubt he'll be of any use here.

[Logan waves that away airily before elaborating.]

He is a very important man back home. I need to ensure he will keep supporting me when we return home. Besides, he is the only other one from Albion here.

[And Logan is not exactly the most social thing, have you noticed?]

Well, yes, I suppose - but you're the king, aren't you? Logically, you could just order him to comply.

Oh, he follows orders, of course. He just does it in the most sarcastic way possible. He's never done anything I can actually punish him for. Besides, attempting to punish him would most likely result in my own death. He's the Hero of Skill, after all.

[...Oh wait, you probably have no idea what that means.]

He's an expert with firearms. He could very easily kill me before I could do anything to him.

[And people think Amestris is - ...okay, no, Amestris is still horrifically messed up, it's just in a way that Kimblee approves of.]

Yes, he's a Hero.

[You guys have Heroes too, right? Of course you do.]

And exactly what is required to be considered such, where you're from?

...No, I don't mean a hero, he's quite obviously not one. He's a Hero - I assume you don't have them. They're humans capable of utilizing Strength, Skill, and Will - they can use magic, survive any fall, and they have longer lifespans than any normal human, to name a few benefits.

Well, as oddly specific a talent as "surviving any fall" is, I suppose that does clear things up - although you have to admit that title is a bit confusing when attributed to people like that, don't you think?

Yes, it is. Most Heroes tend to do the right thing; Reaver is quite obviously not one of them.

A bit of a shame, I suppose - but no, we don't have those sorts of things where I'm from. Other talents, to be sure, but nothing quite like that.
